Slices of life

It was the kind of moment dreams are made of. 
Those lips trembling, heartbeat hastening moments. 
The only cherry on the cake would have been that kiss in the rain…that would have made it too intoxicating to handle maybe. 

The wild breeze, free flowing hair, that hand on her back. That intense long for being held, and wanted. Its almost as though the distance had created this electrifying 
chemistry. And the wind, rain and waves came together in perfect harmony to play their parts in the symphony. It was actually happening, she was actually in the pouring rain, with wild unruly winds and the agitated waves. There were a few infinite seconds when they were almost wrapped around each other shielding themselves from the pouring rain under an umbrella which would not stay still. The wind played havoc with her hair and wouldn’t let them be and that was the beauty of it. 

And the other time, stars came into play. And he was humming his favorite song "Candle In The Wind" while they were strolling hand-in-hand under the moon-lit night. The open air, 
that romance in the wind and the tussle of her hair. Wildly they were flung around the curve of her face, round and round and she succumbed to it. 

There is something about this combination of the rain and wind and tussled hair that makes her think of those memoriable moments.
And that is exactly what she remembered today evening when she was walking with the same person, hand-in-hand and felt a slight drizzle on her face and mild winds were playing the same game with her hair. 

Yes, we have definitely come a long long way since we started the journey way back in 1996. Have loved each other more than the previous day and fought (some stupid fights) even more wildly, went crazy some moment and driven (and still driving) each other mad, re-lived the dreams that we had dreamt together and so many more in making.
It's surely been an awesome, mad, exciting and quite spectacular journey till now!
