..and the preparation continues...
It's a Sunday morning, a lovely morning where the sun is just right. The kind that just-bright-enough-to-brighten-your-day. Yes, that's the kind of sun, we are talking about here.
A day when you have your favorite pass-time lined up for the day. And a day when Assam and Darjeeling forget their ego battles and unite for the greater cause of pleasing you to give that perfect cuppa.
You get yourself out of bed, pretty early than your normal weekend timing. Morning breeze attracts you and you then decide to go for a walk. But then change your mind instantaneously and you decide to shower. To get ready and start the day. The bathroom looks good housekeeping-clean. You believe in angels. You get out of the shower, go to your closet. You can't decide what to wear. For a change, you like everything you see. Thanks to the ongoing shopping for the forth-coming wedding. You have quite a loot in here. But on a day like today, nostalgia is what the heart seeks. You reach out to the jeans you last wore couple of years back. And guess what? It fits. Beautifully.
And then you step out of your home, take a long drive to commercial street with hubby, indulge in a sinful breakfast and then another dose of sinful shopping.
Yes, yours truly bought a beautiful designer wear and associated accessories to grace her sister's marriage. The inertia continued and we ended up visiting commercial street again in the evening, this time with the whole gang, and buying a gown and a matching sandal for the junior. We need to now seriously think about S's outfit for the wedding and the functions lined up. He seems freaked out with the kind of shopping his "girl-gangs" are upto.
Girls are girls and nothing can give them more high than a retail therapy. What say?
